ALEXANDRA GERSTEIN PRESENTS ‘THE FREE GEOMETRY OF OMEGA WORKSHOPS TEXTILES 1913-1919’

We’re delighted to announce that Alexandra Gerstein, curator of Sculpture and Decorative Arts at the Courtauld Gallery, London, is presenting an exclusive paper to the Slow Textiles Group on 27th April 2013. As curator of Beyond Bloomsbury: Designs of the Omega Workshops 1913 – 19, one of her specialisms is the Omega Workshops, twentieth century textiles and the artist’s relationship with design and commerce.   Her paper, THE FREE GEOMETRY OF OMEGA WORKSHOPS TEXTILES 1913-1919, starts at 3.30pm.
